In a startling revelation, Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Aditi Singh accused Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi of orchestrating a malicious campaign against her character for political gains. Singh, a two-time MLA from Raebareli Sadar, disclosed in an interview with ANI that Priyanka Gandhi had allegedly coerced her former husband into defaming her to secure an election ticket.

Singh, who had defected from the Congress to join the BJP in 2021, unveiled the shocking details, claiming that Priyanka Gandhi instructed her ex-husband to malign her reputation in exchange for an election nomination. The allegations came to light as the political landscape heats up ahead of the impending Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

In her candid interview, Singh also shared an incident involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, where she depicted his apparent disconnect with ground realities. "I did eventually meet Rahul Gandhi. He was completely clueless," Singh recounted. "How many MLAs do we have in UP now? I was like, sir, seven...and he threw his head back and laughed," she added, highlighting the lack of awareness among certain political figures.

The timing of Singh's revelations, just before the Lok Sabha Elections, adds a significant dimension to the unfolding political drama. With the Election Commission announcing the polls across the nation in seven phases, the stage is set for a high-stakes battle for political supremacy.
